A Million Dreams…

Dreams: Causes, types, meaning, what they are, and more

I didn’t watch the movie ‘The Greatest Showman’ but I did listen to the song ‘A Million Dreams’. It is one of the best and incomparable songs. It actually depicts reality.

We wish to achieve something or another. We have dreams and goals. Each one of us wants to do something or reach somewhere. Some of these aspiration can be quite common like: “I want to buy a house” or “I want to go to Europe”.

Then there are other dreams like: “I want to go to space” or “I want to be the richest person in the world.”

No doubt, all dreams are important for everyone. No dream is big or small. What might be important for someone might not be for someone else. But what I want to tell today is the importance of following your dreams.

We live for 66 years as an approximate value. It is not much. What we wish might sound absurd to others. As the song says, people think that we are crazy for believing that we can do something like that.

This might lower our self-confidence and we might stop chasing after our goals. And believe me, we will soon be regretting it. It is the habit of people to discourage others. They are going to stop you directly or indirectly from achieving your dreams.

But it will depend on you that do you want to listen to them or not. Do you want to believe your guts or their words? Do you want to be satisfied or regret it later? Do you want to just stop dreaming or prove them that dreaming was worthless?

There are going to be very less people who will actually support you to do what you want to. Others will fail to see through your point of view. They will fail to open their imagination. They will not believe in: “Nothing Is Impossible.”

You will have to find people who can be with you. Who can push you ahead instead of pulling you back to stand with the herd.

Follow your dreams. If you have to go through the sea then do it. Work hard. And…ignore critics and those who don’t trust in your dreams. When you reach there, the happiness and satisfaction will not be explainable. Best Of Luck on your journey.
